With the start of a new year comes a new opportunity to eat fresh and healthy, and we are so lucky to work with Kristen Young to bring your Kristen’s healthy picks for lunch!
Kristen teaches individual Pilates classes in a studio here in West Reading. Pilates is a full body experience that works on stretching and strengthening the body. We got the opportunity to take a class with Kristen and loved it! We highly recommend it!
The one-on-one instruction is incredibly helpful to make sure you are working your body correctly and getting the most out of each position. Kristen is an incredible, knowledgeable instructor and a highly dedicated nutrition coach. After doing Pilates herself or teaching a class, Kristen loves to stop in at D&H for a healthy, high protein lunch to supplement her workout. She came into the store to pick out her favorite healthy lunch picks including our Rotisserie Chicken Salad.

D&H Rotisserie Chicken Salad is my favorite. A mix of white and dark meat. Full of flavor and homemade. No fillers and clean ingredients
Crisp & Co Sweet Ginger Pickles and D&H Sauerkraut are a great addition anytime of the day. Try to add them daily and see how you feel. The pickled items are great for our gut bacteria and promote digestion and even great for immunity.
Top Seedz Crackers are my favorite high protein, low carb cracker! They give the perfect crunch of a cracker but a great way to get healthy fats and a little extra protein to this meal. The fat and protein will help keep you full all afternoon!
Rowdy Mermaid is my new favorite find. A great low calorie Kombucha. The flavor is delicious and not too strong if you are new to Kombucha. Also another great source for gut health and to promote motility! Great choice if you are trying to kick a soda habit!
Spring and Mulberry Chocolate bars are a new find too! I love a piece of chocolate after a meal. Satisfy my sweet tooth. This bar has no refined sugars, only natural ingredients. Just using cacao and dates for sweetness. This bar has protein, fat and even some Fiber which is a great addition.
